Worship with Substance
Clesia Music exists to help the Church sing the truth of God’s Word. We’re a Christian worship label devoted to Bible-based, Spirit-led music, songs written to serve worship rather than performance, where every lyric is intentionally rooted in Scripture and shaped to exalt God.
Each song is prayerfully formed. The creative vision, theological grounding, and spiritual discernment behind it are offered to God for His glory and the building up of His people. We're developing a distinctive sound: contemporary worship woven through with retro big band, orchestral, and choir influences. Our prayer is simple: that the Church would sing songs that align with the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit, and that hearts would return to their first love.
Clesia, the called-out ones
Our name comes from the Greek Ekklesia, the gathered body of believers. That's who we make music for: the Church, called out to worship in spirit and in truth.

Heaven's Throne
A worship album lifting the eyes of the Church to the One seated in glory. The title track is inspired by Isaiah 6, the prophet’s vision of the Lord “high and lifted up", the seraphim crying Holy, holy, holy, and the throne room filled with His glory. These are contemporary songs of reverence and awe, written to draw worshippers into the wonder of God’s holiness.
Return to Me
A worship album with a heartfelt cry for revival. Return to Me echoes God’s tender call to His people, “Return to me, and I will return to you", pleading for the Church to come back to her first love and for the Holy Spirit to bring renewal.

Discernment in Worship
Clesia Music stands against the growing influence of the New Age within the Church, the quiet drift by which practices foreign to Scripture are dressed in Christian language and welcomed into worship. We are concerned in particular with meditative and repetitive practices that hollow worship out from the inside: stilling the mind to empty it rather than to behold God, manufacturing atmosphere in the place of truth, and shifting the focus of worship from God to the self.
Scripture gives us both warning and pattern: to test everything and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21), to expose the unfruitful works of darkness rather than share in them (Ephesians 5:11), and to know that true prayer is not the heaping up of empty phrases (Matthew 6:7). These things we mean to discern, avoid, and expose.
But our deeper aim is not to resist; it is to return. To worship that recovers the clarity and substance of God's Word, that is humble and God-focused, and that meets God where He has promised to be found: in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). That is the worship Clesia Music is for.
A COLLABORATIVE FUTURE
Our Vision
Clesia Music's longer-term ambition is a collaborative one. We want to gather real Christians who share our vision and values: writers, musicians, worship leaders, and local churches, and build something together that serves the body of Christ.
At the heart of that ambition is a simple conviction: worship belongs to the ordinary Christian. For too long its sound and direction have been shaped by a handful of large labels whose reach dominates the industry. We long to see that reliance lessened, not by lowering the standard, but by proving that excellence and faithfulness belong together, that music can be beautifully made and deeply biblical at once.
So our aim is to return worship to its roots without leaving craft behind: songs drawn from Scripture, offered in humility, and made with genuine skill. And as worship recovers that clarity and substance, we trust that the influences which have crept in from outside, the New Age among them, will find less and less room to take hold. That is the future Clesia Music is working toward.

Yes, as a supporting tool, not a replacement for human creativity. Every Clesia Music release involves substantial human work in songwriting, artistic direction, arrangement, and production. AI assists the process, it doesn't author the worship.
We've thought about this carefully, because we're the first to warn against things being dressed up as Christian without substance. Our conviction is that the tool is not the worship, the heart, the words, and the truth are. Scripture is written by human hands and breathed by God; a song is faithful or unfaithful based on whether it magnifies Christ and holds to His Word, not on which instruments or tools helped shape it. We use AI the way earlier generations used the printing press, the recording studio, or the synthesiser: as craft in service of a message that must itself be sound. Everything we make is prayerfully created and reviewed by people, so that our music is shaped by faith and discernment first.
It's a fair concern, and one we take seriously rather than wave away. The honest picture is that the energy needed for an individual AI task has fallen sharply, thanks to better models, more efficient hardware, and improved infrastructure, and it continues to fall. We try to use these tools thoughtfully rather than wastefully, and we keep the human, prayerful work at the centre of what we do.
The legal landscape here is still developing, and we're watching it closely. In the AI music space, some major labels have moved toward licensing agreements, Warner Music, for example, settled and signed a licensing deal, while others, including Universal and Sony, remain in active litigation, so clearer standards are still forming. Our approach is to keep genuine human authorship at the heart of our work and to act responsibly as the rules become clearer, rather than to cut corners.

No, our direction is the opposite. As the ministry grows, our ambition is to bring more musicians, singers, songwriters, and worship leaders into the creative process, reducing our reliance on AI tools over time. We see them as a starting point for a small ministry, not a destination.
